This December brings two culinary moments to Santa Monica—a taste of New York tradition and Parisian charm—as part of our ongoing Proper Presents: TASTES series. First, we’re excited to welcome James Beard-nominated Chef Caroline Schiff to Siete, offering an early glimpse of her highly anticipated NYC diner concept. Then, as the holidays draw closer, join us as the space transforms into a French winter market with acclaimed chef François Daubinet, Mr. T, and a lineup of seasonal sweets, holiday coffee, and artisanal gifts.
Future Classics with Caroline Schiff
Join us at Siete from December 6-8 as Chef Caroline Schiff, James Beard nominee and culinary talent behind Brooklyn’s Gage & Tollner, debuts her next NYC venture. Through three evening services and a special brunch, enjoy her creative take on diner classics.
Dinner highlights include tuna melts, spinach artichoke fritters, and a 50/50 cheesecake-carrot cake with coconut wafers and cardamom crème anglaise. At brunch, savor dishes like challah amaretto French toast with plum jam and an onion bialy toad in the hole.
Le Marché Meets Santa Monica
Infuse the season with a distinctly French spirit as acclaimed pastry chef François Daubinet joins forces with Hollywood’s Mr. T for a holiday market from December 20-22. Transforming our Siete space into a corner of Paris—complete with Daubinet’s masterful bûche de noël and seasonal pastries—the market will also play host to offerings from retail partners like Isa Isa Florals, Bucatini, The New Bar, Siesta Co., and Jumbo Time Wine, curating the perfect mix of gift-giving moments, holiday treats, and festive beverages.
