Pay Now Rates: Non-refundable, fully pre-paid. These rates are non-refundable rates, regardless of date of cancellation.

Pay Later Rates: Must cancel by 3pm, 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax. Reservations require a credit card for guarantee.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card when you book. Blackout dates are subject to their own rules and restrictions. For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in. To cover incidentals, $200/day will be authorized on your credit card.

Check in time begins at 3:00 pm and check out time is 12:00 pm. Arriving early or need that extra hour of sleep? We’ll do our very best to accommodate you (based on availability) – just let us know in advance. If we can’t, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to move on. Late check out fees may apply. If you check out or leave before your scheduled departure date, there is a fee of one night’s stay plus tax. This policy does not apply to nonrefundable bookings.

Room rates are subject to the following nightly Fees:

• Los Angeles Room Occupancy Tax: 14.00% per night
• Tourism Marketing District Fee: 2% per night
• Tourism Assessment Fee: 0.2% per night

Daily Destination Amenity Fee: $40 (plus tax) which includes:

• Enjoy a $40 dining credit daily across all restaurant outlets, no rollover balance
• Premium Wi-Fi throughout the property
• 24-hour fitness center access
• Access to fitness and yoga classes
• Wellness drink and afternoon snack
• Bottled water, replenished daily
• Coffee and tea service, from 5:30am to 9:00am
• Access to rooftop pool
• Priority access to Dahlia

We love your furry friends and they are definitely welcome at Downtown Los Angeles Proper Hotel. With every pet stay, Proper will help a pet in need. 10% of your pet fee gets donated to the Best Friends Animal Society.

Please note our pet fee/policy includes:

• $50 one time, non-refundable fee (per pet)
• 1 pet max
• Max weight of 45 lb per pet
• Sorry, no cats
• Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning or damages that occur

Valet parking is located on South Broadway in front of our hotel entrance:

Overnight parking – $58/night
Restaurant parking – $17 for first 3 hours, additional $3 every 20 minutes
Visitor parking – $17 for first 2 hours, additional $3 every 20 minutes
Event parking – $20 for first 5 hours

All rates subject to 10% city tax

Downtown L.A. Proper is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in any public area, food and beverage outlet or guest rooms. A smoking cleaning fee of $400 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms.

We love our spaces just as much as you do — and we’re so happy you’re excited to photograph and share! With that in mind, we ask you please respect our highly-designed spaces and the privacy of our hotel guests and visitors while taking any images. Our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind Proper experience for all!

Mobile phone photography is permitted with limitations:

• No more than 5 minutes of dedicated photo taking please
• Privacy and respect for hotel guests must be observed at all times.
• Doors, hallways, passages, elevators, etc. may not be blocked for any reason.
• Spaces must remain 100% intact – furniture, design elements, seating, etc. cannot be moved, rearranged, or stood on.
• Respect for the working staff must be considered at all times

Rollaways are not offered for our rooms or suites.

We do have connecting rooms – Premier King connecting to Premier King (request only and subject to availability).

ADA compliant rooms are available.

Downtown L.A. Proper does not have a formal business center, but can provide various executive services including:

• Meeting room and private event space
• Video conferencing
• State-of-the-art audiovisual equipment
• 24-hour multi-lingual staff available

Downtown L.A. Proper is conveniently located in the South Park district at 1100 South Broadway on the corner of 11th street in Downtown Los Angeles.

UBER / LYFT / TAXI: LAX International Airport (Code LAX), is approximately 16 miles from the hotel. The cost for transportation to the hotel is typically $40 to $50.
